Test Furnaces
Whatever
your application, John Zink Company has the furnace configurations
to test your burner under conditions that closely resemble those
encountered in the field. In fact, Zink has more production test
furnaces than any other combustion testing facility in the world.
Experts at our International Research and Development Test Center simulate the thermal conditions your equipment will encounter upon start-up. Testing burners in the equipment's real environment means less surprise and expense after installation. Zink also maintains a diverse supply of fuel types to blend and match (or closely simulate) your specific operating fuel.
Zink engineers and technicians use WonderWareTM software to record, remotely view and instantly download test data from all the furnaces. The test data is then run through custom-designed macros to generate a customer test report in one to two hours. This software also allows our engineers and technicians to remotely control furnaces 12 and 14. Customers in the control room can view burner operation inside furnace 14 by a camera connected to a monitor in the control room. Our plans include developing the capability for Zink to display tests and test results to customers around the world via a password-protected Web site.
