Operator Interface Panel

All John Zink^® Vapor Recovery Units (VRUs) are provided with a solid state, programmable logic controller (PLC) for maximum reliability and flexibility. John Zink VRUs also include an Operator Interface Panel that functions with the PLC to provide significant improvements in the unit's ability to monitor and trend key process parameters, diagnose problems and make system operational adjustments.

User-Friendly Design, Easy to Operate

All equipment, including adsorber vent valves and electrical control items, are skid mounted to reduce field installation and maintenance cost. Only the adsorber vessels are located off-skid due to their size.

Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS)

As an optional feature, John Zink Company offers a Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS) with special enhancements. The CEMS offers VRU operators energy saving capability and allows for emission data averaging. The CEM also interacts with the VRU's programmable logic controller to minimize power consumption.

Three-Phase Separator

John Zink's Three-Phase Separator design offers substantial advantages over alternative VRU designs. The separator incorporates longer residence time with proprietary stilling baffles for superior separation of vapor and liquid.

Recovered Product Absorber

A packed-column absorber optimizes product recovery efficiency with a minimum absorbent flow requirement.
